LADOL joins international panel at SBC local forum in London
LADOL’s Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations Ms Roro Oyegun was one of a small number of speakers at a select, invitation-only event in London hosted by Schlumberger Limited, the world’s largest oilfield services company.
The delegates drawn from petroleum industry companies from all over world.
Ms Oyegun brought them up to date on the effects of Nigeria’s Local Content Act, designed to encourage greater participation in the country’s key petroleum industry.
LADOL executives admit that the company’s growth has been spurred by the act, and Ms Oyegun was able to update delegates on the most recent chapter in the company’s expansion — the $300 m joint venture with Samsung, to build Africa’s largest vessel integration and fabrication yard.
