Global Message of Comfort from our MD/CEO Dr. Amy Jadesimi
Dear Partners, Stakeholders and Clients,
Our staff, clients, colleagues, partners, communities, stakeholders, families and friends are at the heart of what we do. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and following the recommendations of the Government of Nigeria, the World Health Organisation (WHO) and other credible authorities, for the past several weeks we have been taking a number of actions that will keep us all safe and which prioritise their concerns.
These steps include new procedures implemented by our Security, Quality, Safety,Health, Environment and compliance staff and put in place due to this pandemic. Our emergency preparedness and business continuity plans have likewise been updated and implemented to keep our people safe, protect their jobs and limit the spread of this Coronavirus.
Our Free Zone is a unique ecosystem designed to operate 24 / 7 to support some of the most challenging projects in the world. Due to the critical nature of the support we provide in Nigeria that support needs to and will continue, while keeping our people safe and reducing the risk of further spread. Our business continuity plans include a range of procedures from enabling our staff to work remotely to further increasing restrictions on access at the Zone itself. Our plans are being implemented along with the government agencies, Nigerian Export and Processing Zones Authority, Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigerian Immigration Service and Nigerian Customs Service, resident in the Zone. We thank all the staff, residents and visitors to the Zone who have followed the enhanced access procedures at the Zone for the past several weeks and ask that you continue to keep safe and bear with us as these additional protocols maybe in place for the foreseeable future.
We take this opportunity to wish you all the very best through this challenging time and urge us all to continue to follow the advice and directives of the Federal and State Governments, as well as credible organisations such as the WHO and the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control.
Kind Regards,
Dr. Amy Jadesimi
