Egina FPSO Sails Away
Egina FPSO, first FPSO to complete fabrication and integration in NIGERIA – launched from LADOL 05:00am Sunday 26 August 2018
Nicholas Terraz, managing director, Total Upstream Companies in Nigeria, Ahmadu-Kida Musa, deputy managing director, deep water, Total Exploration and Production Nigeria, Dr. Amy Jadesimi, managing director, Lagos Deep Offshore Logistics Base (LADOL), and executives from Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI-MCI) were present during the sail away.
The FPSO will arrive in three days’ time at the Egina oilfield located in Oil Mining Lease (OML) 130, which is being developed at the cost of $16 billion by the French oil major, Total.
